Wetland Biodiversity Day

Learn about wetlands and their inhabitants!

• Participate in one of our hands-on surveys offered throughout the day (frog, bird, butterfly and dragonfly). A great activity for families.
• Go Critter Dipping and catch some critters from the Marsh with a net and a pail.
• Watch a live songbird banding demonstration from 9:00 to 12:00.
• Check out the pop-up Gift Shop.
• Join us for a hotdog lunch ($5 per person).

The Wetland Discovery Centre is currently closed for renovations. Please meet at the Willow Retreat, located just south of the parking lot, to sign-in and get your wristband.

This is also where you can have your lunch, visit the pop-up gift shop, and use indoor washrooms.

Some activities will take place at the Willow Retreat, some at the Bird Banding Station and some in the Courtyard.

Pre-registration is required.
