Critter Dipping (May-October)
Explore underwater life by catching critters, then use magnifiers to identify your water bugs! Note: During winter months when Critter Dipping is unavailable, you may select a different program within your grade package.

Themed Marshwalk: Growth & Changes
Journey through the marsh and learn about the animals that call it home, and how they grow and change through their lives here.

Animal Teachers
Through a sharing circle and interactive activities, discover how animals can be great teachers! Learn the importance of various wetland animals to Indigenous cultures.

Reptiles & Amphibians
Explore the similarities and differences between these two vertebrate groups. Find out why wetlands play such an important role, in these sensitive creatures’ lives.

Ecology Games
Learn about animal behaviours and interactions by playing high-energy, interactive games. Can be played outside, weather permitting.

Seasonal Changes
Plants and animals change throughout the year to survive, we will explore some of these that call the Marsh home.

2ème année : 45 minutes par présentation

Chasse aux bibittes (mai à octobre)
Rendez-vous sur le ponton avec un seau et une épuisette pour explorer la vie sous l’eau. Découvrez la diversité des créatures que l’on peut trouver dans le marais, puis observez-les de plus près pour identifier. Veuillez noter : vous avez le choix d’un programme additionnel quand le programme Chasse aux Bibittes n’est pas disponible en hiver.

Randonnée thématique : Croissance et changements
Explorez les sentiers et découvrez pourquoi les terres humides sont importantes. À chaque niveau, nous explorons un thème basé sur le programme d’études des sciences de la nature.

Les animaux nous enseignent
Découvrez comment les animaux peuvent nous enseigner. Vous apprendez l’importance de divers animaux des terres humides pour les cultures autochtones.

Reptiles & amphibiens
Explorez les similitudes et les différences entre ces deux groupes d’animaux. Découvrez pourquoi les terres humides jouent un rôle si important dans la vie de ces vertébrés.

Jeux écologiques
Apprenez à connaître les comportements et les interactions des animaux en jouant à des jeux interactifs. Ils peuvent être joués à l’intérieur, si le temps ne permet pas d’être à l’extérieur.

Au fil des seasons
Les plantes et les animaux changent tout au long de l’année pour survivre. Nous explorerons certains d’entre eux qui vivent dans le marais.
