Every fall, Oak Hammock Marsh becomes one of the busiest rest stops in North America’s migratory flyways. Millions of birds and waterfowl pass through, using the wetlands as a safe place to feed and rest on their long journeys between breeding and wintering grounds.
At dusk, visitors can join our rooftop presentation and witness breathtaking flocks of Canada geese, snow geese, ducks, and countless waterfowl filling the skies and returning to the marsh in the evening after feeding all day in the surrounding fields.
This may also be the last chance to rent a canoe or a bicycle before the snow flies!
