You’re Invited to the Grand Reopening!
Join us at the Wetland Discovery Centre at Oak Hammock Marsh on Saturday, May 24, 2025 for a day of celebration, exploration, and connection with nature!
After extensive renovations, the Centre is back, bigger, better, and more interactive than ever. Discover exciting new exhibits, family-friendly activities, and immersive wetland experiences that highlight the vital role wetlands play in our environment.
- Ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 am on Saturday
- Special visits to showcase all the new and upgraded facilities
- Guided marsh walks, face painting and interactive exhibits for all ages
- Sample some delicious food from our café
- Meet biologists from Ducks Unlimited Canada and learn about their fascinating research (11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
