Oak Hammock Marsh is a beautiful wetland that is home to over 300 species of birds and a variety of other animals. The Interpretive Centre features interactive exhibits, a multi-media theatre, café, and meeting rooms for your group. Indoor and outdoor programs are available for all ages. Programs are fun and save you money on admission!
Regular admission fees apply to groups which do not request programming. Here’s how much you save with programs:
Regular admission:
$6.00 for adults
$4.00 for students aged 3-17Book one program:
Admission is reduced to $2.25 for students aged 3-17
$4.50 for students aged 18 & up.Two or more programs:
Admission is FREE for students aged 3-17
$2.25 for students aged 18 & up.
Note: GST may be applicable. Regular program prices are $2.00 per person - specialty programs are priced individually. One adult per 10 children is admitted free (one adult per six preschoolers), provided they remain with the group. Bus drivers are also free!
You should know...
A minimum of 15 people per group is required in peak season (May-June, September-October), and 12 people during non-peak times.
For a change in numbers (15 per cent or more), notification must be received at least three working days before the visit, otherwise full payment of the confirmed number will be required.
A deposit of 50 per cent of the total charge, or $20.00 (whichever is more), is required to secure the reservation for your group programs.
The deposit will be returned if cancellation notice is received at least 14 days prior to your visit. If notification is received less than 14 days prior to your visit, or your group is a no show, 50 per cent of the total charge will be due.
