Caring for our Watersheds
A joint project between Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre and Agrium
Caring for our Watersheds is an educational program that weaves together the combined strengths of industry, environmental organizations and communities to engage students in preserving and improving their watersheds. This program empowers students to imagine, develop and create solutions in their local watersheds.
Students research the facts, perform experiments, investigate their local watershed and interview experts. Ideas are presented in a written proposal (approx 1,000 words) and enhanced by visual aids.
