Discovery Tour (Year Round)
A guided exploration of the Interpretive Centre and exhibit halls, you will take part in demonstrations and activities related to our many fascinating exhibits. Get a birds-eye view of the marsh from the observation deck and tour our boardwalk over the water.

Voyageur Canoe Excursion (May – October)
Gently glide through the marsh in our 10 passenger voyageur-style canoes. As you provide the paddle power, get a duck’s eye view of the amazing diversity of wildlife that call marsh home.

Bird in the Hand, Signature Experience (May – September)
This experience creates an intimate connection with nature where visitors may hold a wild bird as they are released after banding. This ritual allows them to participate in an important facet of North American research that has been taking place for more than 100 years. The experience also takes participants into the heart of a thriving wetland as they canoe through channels in search of wildlife. More than 300 species of birds have been documented in this 36 square kilometer wetland – an equivalent to half of the birds species found in Canada.

Geocaching
Geocaching adds a sense of adventure to any walk. This modern-day treasure hunt sends teams out into the marsh in search of caches. This can be customized into a half day or full day Marsh Mystery Challenge for your group.
