Nature Interpreter

Oak Hammock Marsh is looking for enthusiastic seasonal Nature Interpreters to deliver wetland education programs to schools and public.

We welcome more than 10,000 visitors to our Wetland Discovery Centre every autumn, and we want them to have an unforgettable ecotourism experience. Our interpreters bring the outdoors to life for our visitors with daily tours, canoeing, school groups, and more.

The ideal candidate

  • A background or strong knowledge in ecology, zoology, natural history or related topics is an asset.
  • Candidates must be flexible with respect to duties assigned, able to work evenings and weekends and be a team player.
  • Bilingualism is considered to be an asset.
  • Training will be provided.

This position has a spring start, the fourth week of April.

Le centre de découverte des terres humides Harry J. Enns à la recherche de naturalistes bilingues saisonniers pour accueillir des visiteurs et pour enseigner des programmes éducatifs à des groupes scolaires. Les candidat(e)s ayant suivi des cours ou possédant de bonnes connaissances en écologie, zoologie, ressources fauniques ou autres sujets environnementaux seront avantagés. Les personnes ayant un bon esprit d’équipe, de l’enthousiasme, de la flexibilité dans les tâches requises et les heures de travail sont recherchées.
