Nature Nook
Exploring the world of aquatic invertebrates

Fascination Station in the Feature Hall

Windows in the Nature Nook provide a great view of the marsh and its inhabitants. Birdwatching equipment and a remote camera can be used to get close-up views of wildlife over a kilometre away.

Many hands-on exhibits and ever changing seasonal displays provide information such as how your arm span compares with the wingspan of birds or how wetlands benefit us.

You can peek at the intimate life of aquatic invertebrates with our Fascination Station and learn about their many adaptations for living in a marsh.
