Meet our garter snakeThe Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre features interactive exhibits that will help you learn more about why wetlands are important, see what wildlife makes wetlands their home, and explore environmental topics like migration, science and research.

  • Fascination Station – Discover the amazing world of underwater creatures living at the marsh.
  • Nature Nook – Catch a glimpse of the birds living in the marsh with our spotting scopes.
  • Live Animals – Learn about wetlands animals and help us feed with our snake, salamanders, turtles, frogs and fish.
  • Feature Hall – This room showcases different exhibits throughout the year.
